Several students were involved in a tragic motor accident on Thursday, March 22, 2018 along the Robertsfield highway and it has left over 45 school going children in critical conditions.
According to police report, the incident occurred in the Tower Hill Community in Lower Margibi County when the students and a teacher were riding on a commercial bus with plate B1064.
They were identified as students of the Modern Star Foundation School situated in the Rehab Community in Paynesville City.
It is believed that the students and their teacher were traveling on a field trip to Buchanan, Grand Bassa County when the accident happened.
It was gathered that 45 of the injured students have been rushed to the John F. Kennedy Medical Hospital in Monrovia.
It was also gathered that one of the students is also seeking treatment at the ELWA Hospital while another injured student is currently at the Sun Rise Clinic.
According to information surrounding the accident, the teacher on board the vehicle was also affected from the misfortune.
Meanwhile, no death has been reported so far with the driver of the bus identified as Mohammed Sesay said to be on the run for undisclosed reasons.
