Ex-President’s Family In Bloody Clash
Bloody clashes Saturday took place in Konma, hometown of former Liberian President, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.
The fight which involved mainly family members of the ex-Liberian president was reportedly provoked by the disappearance of a radio chip.
The main contender Zuanna Johnson alleged his brother Alphonso Johnson stole the radio chip and challenged him in a fight.
Zuanna claimed his brother Alphonso including other family members attacked him with cutlasses causing injuries all over his body.
He accused them of bitterly opposing him because he pledged support to the Coalition for Democratic Change.
When contacted, Alphonso admitted engaging Zuanna in a fight but Augustus Johnson dismissed the claims, describing Zuanna as a non-member of the family.
